Our Mission Statement
To assist honorably discharged veterans living within the Elks West Central District of Florida which includes Pinellas, Hillsborough, and Pasco Counties with financial assistance to help them live independently and not on the street.
Why We Are Here
According to the US Census Bureau 2022, Florida has 1,322,675 veterans residing here;
the second largest veteran population in the country. In Pinellas County, there are a total of 66,969 veterans according to the US Census Bureau 2023 American Community Survey. Approximately 27,000 of them are Vietnam Era and older veterans. Of those living in Pinellas County, 7.1% earn income below the poverty level, and face a life of homelessness each day. The Florida WCD of the Benevolent & Protective Order of Elks includes Hillsborough and Pasco Counties.
What We Do
Our service is dedicated to providing support and resources for veterans in Pinellas, Hillsborough, and Pasco Counties. We strive to empower our heroes by connecting them to essential services they need to thrive in their communities.
